Stanton family papers, 1906-1985

Piroska Dormann and Erwin Simonovits (a.k.a. Stanton) and their daughter Eva emigrated from Austria in September 1938 and settled in Alameda County.

The collection contains mostly documents produced during the family’s emigration from Austria during the 1930s, including immigration papers, identity documents, birth certificates, naturalization papers, and passports (reisepasses) from Nazi Germany and the United States. The collection also includes some family photographs.
