Teens Take The Magnes | Marking Time

The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life invites high school students who are interested in art, history, culture, and more to connect with each other and UC Berkeley personnel on campus at our upcoming teen event, Teens Take The Magnes: Marking Time.

Sunday, March 3, 2024 | 1:00 – 3:00 pm

In person at The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, 2121 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA

Focusing on ways we mark time, teens will have opportunities to:

View the exhibition Time Capsules and get a behind-the-scenes peek at additional time-related collections materials

Meet with special guests to discuss topics related to the exhibition:
•  David Henkin, Margaret Byrne Professor of History
•  Shimon Kolkowitz, Associate Professor and Herst Chair in Physics

Assemble packages for the Alameda County Community Food Bank to help people celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries (Magnes staff can sign off on 1 hour of community service)

Enjoy Boichik Bagels while spending time with friends
